Diagnosis of
Psoriatic Arthritis
Psoriatic Arthritis is diagnosed based on a combination of history taking, and clinical examination. The most common findings leasing to a diagnosis of Psoriatic Arthritis is multiple painful joints with swelling, in the presence of psoriasis, and clinical symptoms including joint pain and joint swelling, in the presence of psoriasis or close relative with psoriasis.

Your Rheumatologist may discuss treatments including lifestyle factors: exercise and dietary management, as well as pharmacological treatments including NSAIDS, DMARDS and biologic DMARDS.
